3 Day Electric Guitar Building Workshop

This 3 day workshop is designed for anyone and all skill levels. Guitar players, woodworkers or anyone who wants to learn the art of guitar building are welcome. You will construct a solid body guitar from prefabricated materials. Choose from a Stratocaster or Telecaster style guitar.

You will...

Design your own headstock
Learn to fit a neck to a body
Install hardware: tuners, bridge & tailpiece
Wire the electronics
Learn fret dressing, crowning & set up
Fine-tune & set up intonation
Learn about different scale lengths
Discuss different tone woods for guitar making
Learn about tools & fixtures necessary in the guitar making trade
Go over finishes

Learn from my 32 years of experience in the guitar making business.

All materials included. Class is limited to 6 students.

Deposit of half down is required to hold your reservation. Balance due at start of workshop. Please contact us for more information or to reserve your guitar making experience.

Deposits are non-refundable. If I need to cancel my reservation, and I give more than 30 days notice, I may apply my deposit to a future course. If I cancel my reservation less than 30 days before the course start date, and my spot is filled by another student, I will be able to apply my deposit to a future course. If I cancel less than 30 days before the course and my spot is not filled by another student, my tuition will not be returned or applicable to another class. I understand my deposit and tuition will be refunded in full in the case of any course cancellation by Nazareth Guitar Institute.
